Offset printed pins work best for real-life pictures and gradients of color shift. It’s ideal if you want your photo transferred from a photographic negative onto the surface of a metal enamel pin.
If your logo or artwork has a lot of small details, many different colors, or looks like a photograph, custom offset printed pins are your best choice. Most enamel pins need metal lines to separate colors, but offset printing lets us print your exact image directly onto the metal. This means you don’t have to simplify your design or change your colors.
To keep your pin looking great, we cover it with a clear epoxy dome. This hard, shiny layer protects the print from scratches and keeps the colors looking bright for a long time.
This is the only way to turn a real photograph or a design with color gradients into a high-quality lapel pin.

You don’t have to, but it is strongly recommended. The epoxy is what gives an offset printed pin its unique look and durable finish. Without epoxy, the print is susceptible to scratches or damage.
Cleaning an offset printed pin is the same process as all types of pins. Be gentle, avoid abrasive cleaning agents and always ensure they are dried once completed. Usually a damp cloth or in the case of tarnish a jewelry cleaning agent will do the trick most of the time.
