Embroidered patches use thicker thread and have a raised, 3D texture you can feel. Woven patches use thinner thread and a flatter weave, which makes them better for designs with tiny text or very fine details.
Yes. Our embroidered patches are durable and machine-washable. We recommend washing the garment in cold water and letting it air dry (or using low heat) to keep the thread and adhesive in top shape.
To keep your text readable, we recommend a minimum height of 5mm (about 0.2 inches). If your text is smaller than that, we may suggest a woven patch or a printed option so the letters stay sharp.
Most embroidered patches feature a "merrowed border," which is a thick, wrapped edge that prevents fraying. For complex shapes, we can use a "heat-cut" edge for a clean, low-profile look.
It depends on your needs! Iron-on is great for quick home application, while sewing them on provides the strongest permanent bond. We also offer Velcro for tactical gear and Adhesive for one-time events.
