Questions About Our Pins

Do the pins come individually packaged?

Yes. All pins come packaged in their own individual poly bag. We also offer other packaging options. Let us know when you submit your order and we’ll make sure each coin is packaged correctly.

Can I get pins with my own artwork?

Yes. All of our products are customized to your specifications. Just send us an image, or notes of what you’d like and our design team will prepare a digital proof for you to review prior to ordering.

What colors can I use for enamel pins?

We use the Pantone Solid Coated color system, which is industry standard for enamel products. If you already know your Pantone colors, just send them over. If not, no problem, our design team will use the best match.

As part of your review we recommend you review the Pantone color swatches to confirm they match your designed look. Please note that colors on digital screens can vary from one screen to another.

Can I create a custom backer card for the pins?

Yes! Backer cards are a great way to elevate the look of your pins. Backer cards can be customized to meet any specifications you’d like, single or double sided and various thicknesses.

What options do you offer for pin backs/clutches?

We offer a variety of different pin backs and clutches. Depending on your preferences we’d recommend different clutches for your projects.

Rubber clutch and butterfly clutch are complimentary with your pins. Magnet backs are convenient and avoid poking holes in clothes, but add significantly to the cost. Deluxe clutch options are also available for those looking for a more secure and high-end feel for their finished design.

Which style pin should I choose?

The right pin style depends on your design, purpose, and how you plan to wear it.

Hard enamel: Durable with smooth, polished surfaces. Great for professional, high-quality looks.
Soft enamel: Affordable, with recessed color areas and raised metal lines. Great for classic style pins. Die-struck: Metal-textured look without color. Ideal for elegant designs, or a minimal look.
Epoxy-coated pins: Adds a glossy, protective layer.
3D cast pins: Fully sculpted, great for intricate designs and raised details.

What pin sizes are available?

We can make your pins in any size. Depending on the use case, our team may recommend a certain size. Typically we provide the following advice:
Less than 1 inch: Professional, simple designs. Typically worn on a suit lapel.
1 - 1.5 inch: Most popular size for most pins.
Bigger than 1.5 inches: Best for trading pins, collectibles, or designs with lots of details.

Let our team know what your use case is and they’ll provide you with advice on the best size for your pin.
